Bad news for sterling too. So good news for those foreigners looking to buy UK property. So long as the home you are selling is in Mayfair or South Ken there will be lots of buyers!

Other sellers may struggle.

Of course the resilience to a real correction of the housing market still means ordinary working young couples will be struggling to get on the ladder without mummy and daddy helping.
